Pregnancy Post: I'm ready! But I'm not ready...
Less than two months left before the baby arrives!
Are you kidding me?!?!!
At this point, I'm kind of like...
Omgoodness, I'm not ready to be a mom!!
I'm freaking scareddddd!!
I'm freaking scareddddd!!
But...
I'm so ready for you to come out, baby!
The lack of comfort with being pregnant is starting to drive me up the wall sometimes.
Like... I legit sweat trying to cut my toenails... or tie my shoes... or bend over... because I can't breathe... forget about shaving legs.
Props to women who really enjoy being pregnant. I'm not quite sure what it is you enjoy about it lol

It has yet to really hit me that there's still a baby inside me despite her constantly kicking and rolling around in there.
The last time I wrote a pregnancy post, I had a bit of a scare.
Remember when I said I took the glucose test? You drink that small bottle of orange-flavored drink loaded with sugar (50g to be exact) and they draw your blood an hour later?
Well... a few days later, I got a call from the doctors office and I FAILED.
They want your blood sugar level (not sure what they call it) to be at a 170 or lower, but I was at a 191. So... I had to take another test that was 3 hours long!
Guys... I was so depressed when I found out I failed the test... It made me so sad to think about being extra extra careful about my carb intake, etc.
Later that week, I did a 12-hour fast (but more like a 20-hour fast lol), went to the doctors the next morning, they drew my blood, then I drank what I thought would be the same drink as before. Nope. Well, it was the same flavor, same bottle, but with double the sugar. 100 GRAMS!
My goodness, I thought the first time was sweet... this was truly the definition of gaggingly sweet. Pretty sure my face turned bright red after my first gulp.
Anyway... they drew my blood 3 more times every hour after that and because I was almost 100% sure I was going to have gestational diabetes, I PIGGED out the next couple days before the results came in. Probably not a good idea haahaa
Shout out to Justin for staying with me at the doctors all 3.5 hours heh :)
Well, Monday morning came along and I was just dreading the phone call that I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes and I would have to watch what I ate, maybe poke myself every few hours, etc etc... LUCKILY, I passed that dang test!
I blame the soda, brownies and the bite of donut I ate the night before the first test.
My iron level is constantly on the lower side of the scale, so I do need to be better with my vitamins... or eat some more meat. Not gonna complain about that!
That was probably too long of a story, but to be honest, I don't think too much has changed since my 28-week update. Except that I'm getting bigger and bigger and bigger...
And yet, I have still not bought a single piece of maternity clothes.
My love for loose clothing is paying off. At least for maybe another week or two lol
I'm currently 34 weeks and I don't know what body part it is, but baby is trying to come out of my stomach right now. Like right below my right rib cage. Sheesh. Go back in...
Doctors appointments have been quite boring... I want ultrasounds, ya know?! But all I've been getting are shots...
Just kidding... not really... I feel like I've gotten lots of shots, but I'm grateful to hear her little heart beating and to know that all is well.
No news is good news, right?!
Our baby's room is coming along nicely, though, most other moms probably would have their baby's nursery completely done by now... All we really need is a crib mattress... and some diapers... and wipes... and stuff... ha... ha...
My parents actually came by last weekend to bring a bunch of baby stuff! Mostly clothes and food hahah And this awesome baby swing/rocker that I wish they had in adult size because it looks so comfy...
I'll put up a picture of a finished nursery... when it's finished... soon :)
And this post seems too boring without a picture, so I'll put up a picture from a week ago at 33 weeks.
At least I'm taking these bump pictures, right?!
Don't mind the messy room...
Oh, and how much weight have I gained?
23 glorious pounds.
